Triskeles engages youth in experiential programs working beside adults and peers who are committed to creating a more sustainable world; one where the bottom line values of prosperity, people, peace and planet are the measure of success.
Young adults respect and learn especially well from inspiring role models who ‘walk their talk’ – successful professionals and entrepreneurs who have discovered through their own experiences how to make progressive social values manifest in the real world. We engage youth in experiential programs where practical, "real world" experiences meet their ideals and provoke a sense of meaning and belonging. These young people find that adults become sources from which they can 'light their candles' and confirm their ideals. The older generation is also inspired by the energies and idealism of the youth. Both generations grow in their understanding of what solutions are really needed to overcome the many challenges facing us today. Guided peer-to-peer experiences can draw the best out of each person. Success in the world is not based upon classroom learning alone—although that is very important. Youth who participate in our programs learn hundreds of important lessons which are never taught in any classroom but are necessary experiences to succeed in most walks of life.
