On Friday, June 18th, we opened a beautiful, organic garden in the Eagleview Business Park for the senior citizens residing in their seniors' building on the corner of Rice Blvd. and Dickinson Ct. 

The event was attended by several of the older folks, Senator Andy Diniman, and Mr. Robert Hankin along with some of Triskeles' youth leaders.

 Growing fresh, healthy foods in our own communities is such a positive way to engage people in both social and physical activity while also providing delicious, nutritious produce for our older generation.  The residents were absolutely thrilled about this garden and look forward to working with Triskeles' youth in maintaining it and reaping "what they are sowing!"  Additionally, Triskeles has arranged a few cooking sessions as well so that the seniors can refresh their skills and learn some new ways in which to prepare and eat the wonderful, fresh produce that they will pick as the garden flourishes!
