Green Interns do–and that’s why several of them got together with Mr. Mark on March 16th to create a delicious dessert for the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation’s ‘Brown Bag’ dinner meeting.
Ms. Yvonne, our Cooking For Real dynamo, whipped up a carrot cake, and Ken and Sue Miller, from Birchrun Hills Farm, donated some delicious fresh cream cheese. Add some PA maple syrup and organic Seven Stars cream, and what do you get?? Frosting on the cake, of course!
OK, OK, a little sugar too.
When all was done, cakewise, we made some organic lemonade sweetened with maple syrup, and off it went to the Health Foundation, as a way of saying ‘Thank you’ for all the healthy things that they support in this area.
