OFFICERS
Chairman of the Board: Bob Hill - Tunnell Consulting, Retired
President: Clemens Pietzner - Triskeles Foundation
Clemens founded the Triskeles Foundation in 2002. In his role as President, Clemens leads the strategic planning, vision development, fund raising, personnel supervision, and program development of Triskeles. Prior to establishing the Triskeles Foundation, Clemens served as the executive director (1984-2002) of the Camphill Foundation ~ a public foundation focused on serving communities that care for and support children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities. During his time there, he was responsible for active investments and grant-making programs, and led major outreach and fundraising events. His activities led him into national and international networks of progressive leaders. Clemens has written and published a variety articles and books in addition to training development professionals. Before Camphill, Clemens served in the New York State government in the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities and with the Ohio state legislature. Clemens has a BA in Political Science and Public Administration and other training in not-for-profit management, finance, and development.
Vice President: Cornelius M. Pietzner - Goetheanum (Switzerland)
Switzerland/USA (BA Williams College, Massachusetts). Cornelius has been engaged in community development, financial management and philanthropy issues in the US and Europe over the last 20 years, both with individuals and foundations supporting the integration of ethical and socially progressive ideals with practical initiatives. He is the author/editor of a number of books and articles and speaks on themes of social entrepreneurship, community building and contemplative practices. Pietzner lives in Dornach, Switzerland, where he serves on the Executive Board of the General Anthroposophical Society/Goetheanum as Treasurer.
Treasurer: Fern Jones - THS Ltd.
Fern Jones works as an advisor to investment managers of institutions, most recently in product development and project management capacities. Her career spans 20+ years and has been divided equally between work for sell side firms such as JP Morgan and large institutional investors such as General Motors pension fund and MetLife's investment unit. She focuses on portfolio construction and risk analysis, designs rebalancing strategies, evaluates and analyzes new investment opportunities with special expertise in sustainable and socially responsible, private placement and other vehicles, and recommends asset liability management programs. Her market analysis concentrates on bonds, currencies, derivative strategies, convertible securities and alternative investments. The latter have included hedge funds, commodities and agricultural lands. She holds degrees from Yale and MIT, a CFA charter and various professional certificates and licenses.
Assistant Treasurer: Susan Tall - Competitive Edge Resources, Inc.
Susan Tall has over 25 years in strategic planning, management, financial analysis, operations analysis, manufacturing, training and consulting. Her experience encompasses facilitating, training, consulting and operations management positions with The Reinvestment Fund, Coopers & Lybrand and General Electric in addition to the formation of Competitive Edge Resources. Her specific experience has focused on the development of large and small organizations to achieve success through the implementation of customer-focused concepts and operational effectiveness. Ms. Tall has worked with a broad range of industries including: an economic development fund, child care centers, hospitals, building products, plastics, pharmaceuticals, home furnishings, textiles, printing, automotive, and electronics.
Secretary: Moira Mumma - Citizen Advocacy
Moira is the senior coordinator at Citizen Advocacy of Chester County, where she has worked for 22 years. Citizen Advocacy is a means to promote, protect and defend the welfare and interests of people who have disabilities, by initiating long term one-to-one relationships. Moira is also president and co-founder of The Community Coalition, an innovative model of collaboration among small non-profit organizations dedicated to fundraising together and sharing resources.
Trustees
Hiram Bingham - Davenport Resources, LLC
Hiram is the senior partner at Davenport Resources, LLC, an early stage investment firm specializing in clean technology companies and clean energy projects. He provides strategic marketing and operations guidance to portfolio companies and structures capital placements. He also provides due diligence and management oversight for clean energy projects in the US and UK. Previously, he held management positions in both new economy companies and renewable energy.
Katherine Dews - Language Line Services
Katherine has worked with financial services and federal government clients for the past 20 years, focusing on building global relationships, managing complex business initiatives, and providing strategic planning and marketing services. In her current position, she is responsible for managing strategic accounts for a global provider of translation services, working with senior management in strategy, marketing, operations, contracts and procurement to achieve client goals and objectives. Her experience includes many years of service as a board trustee for not-for-profit organizations. Ms. Dews received a B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina and an M.B.A. from Villanova University.
James E. Norris - The Vanguard Group
Jim is responsible for Vanguard International, which manages investments for institutional and retail clients in more than 80 countries around the world. Since joining Vanguard in 1987, Mr. Norris has held numerous leadership positions in Vanguard's Corporate and Institutional divisions, and for many years led Vanguard’s Institutional Retirement Plan Solutions business. Mr. Norris received an accounting degree from St. Joseph’s University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

President: Raymond Schneider
Ray is a consulting industry executive with over 20 years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility including Chief Consulting Officer, Vice President, Practice Director and Account Manager. He was a member of his firm’s senior leadership team during a time of rapid growth. Ray’s technical expertise has been focused on the development and implementation of comprehensive organizational design, process improvement, culture and managerial changes strategies. He has designed and implemented these strategies for over 50 companies and 200+ facilities in both service and manufacturing industries including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, health care (hospitals), financial services, ophthalmics, photovoltaics, construction products, specialty paints and many more.
Vice President: Jim Epstein - EFO Capital Management, Inc.
Jim Epstein is Chairman of EFO Capital Management, Inc., a Washington, D.C.-based investment management firm with a highly diversified investment portfolio. He and his father founded the firm in 1981. In addition to investments with portfolio managers, bond managers, private equity partnerships and hedge funds, the firm has extensive experience with development of and/or investments in real estate across the country, including historic buildings, mini warehouses, apartments, condominiums and land development. Jim was a 2005 Knight Fellow at the University of Miami's School of Architecture Knight Program in Community Building. He currently serves as Chairman of DC Greenworks, a social and environmental enterprise organization focused exclusively on green roofs in the Chesapeake region. Jim is also an Emeritus Board member at Pathfinder International, a family planning service delivery organization that has worked in more than 80 countries over the last 50 years. He is a member of the Social Venture Network and the Threshold Foundation. His proudest accomplishments to date, however, are his two children, now in their teens.

Secretary: Sarah Heirman - Washington Waldorf School
Ms. Heirman is currently a high school math teacher and public relations liaison for the Washington Waldorf School. She has recently returned to her home town of Washington, D.C. after living in New York City for the past 6 years. While in New York, Ms. Heirman worked as a public school and private school teacher and brings experiences in both teaching and public relations to her work with the Washington Waldorf School. Ms. Heirman received a BA from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a MS from Mercy College through the New York Teaching Fellows Program.

Lewis Friedman - Urban Real Estate Growth Fund LLC
Dr. Lewis Friedman has a Ph.D. in Political Science from Michigan State University. For many years, he had a dual career in real estate investment and as a tenured faculty member at the City University of New York. Dr. Friedman utilizes his expertise in the field of public sector budgeting and financial management by reporting to governmental and not-for-profit organizations in these fields. He is the author of Budgeting Municipal Expenditures (Praeger, 1975) and numerous articles, monographs and governmental reports. Lewis presented a paper at the Asian Real Estate Society's annual meeting in Shanghai and in the fall of 2008, taught an executive level Real Estate Finance course in Singapore and Taipei.
Today, as the managing partner of Eagles Nest Capital, LLC, Lewis continues to be involved in New York City real estate. He has participated in the development of a ground-up residential development and owns several small residential buildings in the city. He also serves in the roles of a pro bono consultant and board member for not-for-profit organizations.
Clemens Pietzner - Executive Director
Clemens founded the Triskeles Foundation in 2002 and Triskeles Inc., its subsidiary, in 2009 where he serves as its executive director in addition to his role as president for the Triskeles Foundation. Please see bio above for more information about Mr. Pietzner.
Jeff Taylor - RC Taylor Group
Since 1988, Jeff has been a principal and vice president of RCTaylor and Associates, Inc., a training, development and consulting organization that helps organizations and individuals identify needs, create objectives, measure results, and be successful. With the sale of RCTaylor in December of 2008, Jeff continues his role as a business consultant to the new owners.
Jeff has worked with small, medium and Fortune 500 companies at every level of management providing services as a trainer, executive coach and mentor. In 1991, he saw the need for human resources and training professionals to exchange ideas, discuss current trends and network and formed the Executive Human Resources Forum (EHRF). He also serves as a program advisor for Vital Learning Corporation, Inscape Publishing, Inc. and Integro Leadership Institute, all of which are international publishers of training materials and assessment tools.
