Susan Tall has over 25 years in strategic planning, management, financial analysis, operations analysis, manufacturing, training and consulting. Her experience encompasses facilitating, training, consulting and operations management positions with The Reinvestment Fund, Coopers & Lybrand and General Electric in addition to the formation of Competitive Edge Resources. Her specific experience has focused on the development of large and small organizations to achieve success through the implementation of customer-focused concepts and operational effectiveness. Ms. Tall has worked with a broad range of industries including: an economic development fund, child care centers, hospitals, building products, plastics, pharmaceuticals, home furnishings, textiles, printing, automotive, and electronics.
President: Clemens Pietzner - Triskeles Foundation
Clemens founded the Triskeles Foundation in 2002. In his role as President, Clemens leads the strategic planning, vision development, fund raising, personnel supervision, and program development of Triskeles. Prior to establishing the Triskeles Foundation, Clemens served as the executive director (1984-2002) of the Camphill Foundation ~ a public foundation focused on serving communities that care for and support children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities. His activities have led him into national and international networks of progressive leaders. Clemens has written and published a variety articles and books in addition to training development professionals. Before Camphill, Clemens served in the New York State government in the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities and with the Ohio state legislature. Clemens has a BA in Political Science and Public Administration and other training in not-for-profit management, finance, and development.
Vice President: Cornelius M. Pietzner - Alterra Impact Finance(Switzerland)
CEO and Founder of Alterra Impact Finance. He has had leading roles for 25 years in social impact enterprises, financial management, philanthropy and investments. He serves as Trustee/Advisory Board of various foundations and was a founder of Camphill (life – sharing) Communities/North America. He graduated Williams College, MA. and held the Thomas J. Watson Fellowship.
Treasurer: Fern Jones- FJCorp./THS Ltd.
Fern Jones works as an advisor to investment managers of institutions, most recently in product development and project management capacities. Her career spans 20+ years and has been divided equally between work for sell side firms such as JP Morgan and large institutional investors such as General Motors' pension fund and MetLife's investment unit. She consults with investors to provide portfolio strategy, risk analysis and emerging investment sector research. In addition, Fern manages a team of professionals that provide pre-development services to project managers in selected industrial and agricultural sectors. Through her brokerage firm, she promotes socially aware private placements that offer niche exposures in renewable energy and biotechnology. Her areas of capital market expertise include bonds and hybrid securities, derivatives, commodities and real assets. Fern holds degrees from Yale and MIT, a CFA charter and various professional certificates and licenses.
Secretary:Moira Mumma- Citizens Advocacy
Moira is the senior coordinator at Citizens Advocacy of Chester County, where she has worked for over 23 years. Citizens Advocacy is a means to promote, protect and defend the welfare and interests of people who have disabilities, by initiating long term one-to-one relationships. Moira is also president and co-founder of The Community Coalition, an innovative model of collaboration among small non-profit organizations dedicated to fundraising together and sharing resources.
Trustee: Katherine Dews– Investment Bank
Katherine is currently based in the Washington, DC area where she is Vice President at a major investment bank and manages a portfolio of Federal government clients. Katherine has worked with financial services and federal government clients for the past 20 years, focusing on building global relationships, managing complex business initiatives, global translation services, providing strategic planning and marketing services. Her experience includes many years of service as a board trustee for not-for-profit organizations. Ms. Dews received a B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina and an M.B.A. from Villanova University.
Trustee: James E. Norris- The Vanguard Group
Jim is responsible for Vanguard International, which manages investments for institutional and retail clients in more than 80 countries around the world. Since joining Vanguard in 1987, Mr. Norris has held numerous leadership positions in Vanguard's Corporate and Institutional divisions and for many years led Vanguard’s Institutional Retirement Plan Solutions business. Mr. Norris received an accounting degree from St. Joseph’s University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Trustee: David Resnik- I3 Advisors LLC
David Resnikhas made a career working with SMEs which he either founded or co-founded, leading to several successful exits to both public and private companies. His passion for discovering and nurturing small businesses is combined with the desire to create quality job opportunities and has been key in the development of over hundreds of new positions through his companies. He is also involved with conservation and the environment within his community and has been elected a Director of the French and Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust.
For the past 8 years he has been focused on identifying businesses to invest in using his accumulated operational experience to perform due diligence and identify companies which can succeed through funding along with a strong management team. Mr. Resnik successfully raised funding for several businesses as a Limited Partner with Zon Capital Partners, a venture capital fund. He brought in several deals which led to Series A investments. One of these emerging growth firms, a Blood Management company, was recently acquired by an NYSE listed medical device company and provided a 45% return for the Fund.
David has founded or co-founded several service companies ranging from emerging growth to expansion stage, focusing on a wide spectrum of technologies and business services. Through these efforts he has developed a deep understanding for valuing businesses and assessing investment opportunities. Mr. Resnik graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and currently resides in Birchrunville, PA.
Trustee: Mark Watson - Keel Asset Management LLC
Mark W. Watson, is CEO/CIO and Portfolio Manager of Keel Asset Management LLC, a financial advisory firm with offices in Chicago and Cape Cod. At 47 years of age, he has 26 years of experience in the financial services industry. Keel Asset Management LLC provides financial planning and investment advisory services to non profits, public, and corporations. Mr. Watson is currently a board member of the Cape Development Program, a Cape Cod based economic development and affordable housing nonprofit; the Boston Area Sustainable Investment Consortium, Highland Center Inc. (development nonprofit in Truro, MA), and the Boston chapter of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators. He is also a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, The Harwich Chamber of Commerce, the Social Investment Forum, and the National Association of Securities Professionals. He enjoys sailing and traveling during his free time.
